Sub Judice

The three of us have been discussing one comment in particular from last evening and can’t see how we can publish it at this point, when it involves a sub judice matter in a UK court. In our eyes, it’s one for the police to immediately follow up. That there might have been injustice and might be a present danger has not been lost on us but there is also another aspect.

We have taken up causes before and this comment was attached to a publicly known matter from some time ago. The key here is sub judice because to publicly opine on it puts not only OoL in contempt but any reader who comments on it. Your general thoughts on this would be appreciated but at this time, no matter how much we might sympathise with the plight of the commenter, we can’t in all conscience, let that particular comment through.
