Clarke’s kite shot down

I’m sure many will write about Clarke’s bit of lunacy and many commented in the online news but what he’s proposed – trial behind closed doors – has to be seen in context.

It’s a try-on, a kiteflying for his masters to gauge the level of discontent over it. They’d expect the net to get its knickers in a twist, they’d expect sections of the Tories. Bet they didn’t expect cross-party opposition of this vehemence. So they’ll crawl back under their rocks and await a more auspicious moment or else surreptitiously introduce it anyway.

Clarke is not an “out of touch” duffer, that’s too kind – he’s a nasty man who would sell out his country for his continental masters. He’s a shill. He’s a destroyer of the Tory Party. When Blair is finally tried, he will be on the list too.

There was a Tory Party once, before Heath started the destruction. And as for trials – bring it on.

He’s a fat fraud. Rumour has it that he attempted to sue the makers of ‘trivial pursuit’ for confusing him with Alan Clark, who famously decribed him as a ‘greasy butterball’.
