Modern Conservatives … Again!

September 23, 2013 2 Comments

Andrew Boff, Leader of the Conservative group on the Greater London Assembly, said: “I don’t think [Sir Robin] actually likes Newham. I think he wants to change it to some other borough. I think he’s a bit ashamed.

“Integration is either respecting diversity or trying to suppress it and I think there’s more suppressing going on.”

He added: “What’s happening in Newham is a big backwards step.”

Good heavens, what sort of things has he been doing..?

The strategy being pursued by the Mayor of Newham Sir Robin Wales has seen foreign language newspapers removed from libraries and the borough’s translation services cut.

Oh. Is that it? That’s not a backward step at all – as Quiet Man pointed out in this very blog, it’s an improvement!

“I’m very strongly of the view that if you try and segregate people into different groups and try to keep them separate, that’s not only bad for everybody [else], it’s bad for the particular community you do it to. “

Well, quite! It’s really rather surprising to see that it’s the Conservative who is in favour of squandering taxpayer money on identity groups, isn’t it?

Well, it would be, were ‘Conservative’ not a totally debased word thanks to Cameron.

And, in a nice little touch of irony:

The film Naturalising Newham will be shown on the BBC Asian Network at 5pm…

That’s the inclusive BBC for you, that is. It’s the unique way it’s funded, you know…

How does this twat think that making every one read the same language, in this case English,is “segregate(ing) people into different groups and try (ing)to keep them separate?”

He DOES know the meaning of the word “Integration” I presume?

Although I would prefer it to be forced “Assimilation.”
