“Do As I Say, Not As I Do!” Part 4879258

“I would like to call on those who are paid by the BBC but criticise it in media interviews and in public to think hard before they join the daily chorus of BBC-bashing that takes place in some quarters.

“It is damaging to an institution that I’m convinced they love and would not actually want to harm.”

Said Danny Cohen. To….errr, the media.

“BBC staff often wonder why some of our on-screen talent and some former members of staff choose to attack or undermine the BBC in public rather than express any concerns they have in private conversations within the BBC.”

So why didn’t you have a word in their ear in private, Danny?

BBC, oops sorry you mean Common Purpose broadcasting, after that Mandella orgy of sorrow and wailing which made me want to vomit let the BBC show some of the horrific murders and mutilation of children and no mention of the Health hazard facing us after Jan 1 forget your pooper scooper try a JCB.

JuliaM, wonderful. But I have to wonder who is the target Mr Cohen’s admonishments? I can’t offhand think of one of the bbc pet entertainers who has ever in seriousness criticised the hand that feeds them.

He was responding to recent comments by Dimbleby and Jennifer Saunders, apparently.
