The Monday assault on UKIP

No doubt others will have much to write about the C4 mockumentary about UKIP in government.

Not having a tele, I’ve had to rely on tweets by known bloggers, e.g. Dick Puddlecote, Captain Ranty etc. But even their comments don’t paint the whole picture.

1. At the same time, someone called Trevor has flooded the Mail’s comments thread whilst the show was still on and the Mail has made no attempt whatever to stem them – must be running into the hundreds from one person, often the same comment hit key, post, hit key, post, hit key, post. The Mail itself has made it unmoderated which it doesn’t usually do when UKIP is mentioned – what, no one whatever at the Mail is monitoring comments?

2. The Independent is running a poll showing “UKIP is Britain’s most hated brand”. A poll at the Mirror had 73% of people voting UKIP but the one coming out today has them on 9%. Last Ashcroft had UKIP at 19% I believe. There are real porkies being told and sampling discrepancies.

3. Someone’s come onto Twitter with a pie graph depicting 43% of people on Twitter laughing at UKIP over the mockumentary and known Tory bloggers are flooding Twitter as well.

This, ladies and gentlemen, does begin to resemble an almighty stitch-up by LibLabCon. Breitbart is about the only outlet fighting back in any way.

The one and only issue is what effect will all this have on the average voter out there?

can you imagine if channel 4 had made such a programme about lib/lab/con in the run up to an election, or even about a con/lib lab/lib coalition. Channel 4 would have been hauled over the coals.
Tiz a pity that UKIP can’t sue, channel 4 has no evidence to back up this utter character assassination and even if you think UKIP area bunch of tossers if you believe in truth and justice no one in their right mind could call this fair or reasonable.
    It’s a bloody disgrace.
Just my view I am sure the firing squad will be in to shoot me down in flames shortly.

UKIP is a threat to every comfy chair in the establishment and will be singled out at every opportunity.
This has a double effect, while the public eye is kept on UKIP the electorate are being deflected away from the incompetence of the legacy parties.
I hope it blows up in their faces.

It is as near to legal defamation as one could get, however one or two events in it could come true so a majority of the electorate would be caused to vote for UKIP, I leafleted for them at Rochester under my real surname of longpronk, nobody minded nobody cared just as long as I helped.

It wasn’t just UKIP getting it in the neck in this “Mockumentary” (how very Brass Eye). Look at how they portrayed the white British working class. Our Metroluvvies seem to hate them even more than they do UKIP.
