and the End is truly Nigh!

The news report should have been ‘A well-known pop singer, ‘XXXXX’ has died: and then, well; move on.

But the BBC, during their flagship Today news programme, have given over a good three-quarters-hour or more into a simpering adoration of one of their heroes. It is, of course, completely understandable. Bowie was after all, someone who ticked virtually all the Beeb’s boxes:-

  • Bi-sexual, homosexual; whatever!
  • Drug user
  • Anti-establishment (Tory Establishment)
  • Ignoring his flirtations and admiration for Nazi Germany
  • Cross-dresser
  • Pop singer and sometimes actor

I suppose it will eventually be mentioned at some Beeb-committee that the time spent eulogising their supreme idol was just a smidgen over the top, but it will never, ever, seep into the collective consciousness of the Leftard/Liberal/Socialist sympathisers which abound within the Beeb, that it was just a man that died; and not the vision of the Second Coming!

And let’s not forget his marriage to the Somali-American fashion model, actress and entrepreneur. (HA HA) Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid. So he really is a man/ woman of the Beeb. Bowie has not been a name for many years his career in latterly has been insignificant and dreadful. But that aside his early music was significant, to musicians and influential.
I think Bowie was talented in the early years, but that well ran dry in the 80’s he is definitely not deserving of Iconic or legendary status, But the BBC is the pond scum of the left’s doctrine of “equality” funny if everyone is equal that we need equality for all.

The Laughing Gnome, anyone? He came to public attention while living in New York, as I recall and walking around in public wearing a dress. I wonder if Eddie Izzard borrowed the idea?

The name rings a bell; I always associated him with that tribe of peculiar people who I classified as “performing animals”.

Can someone tell me where the queue of all those who claim to have been abused by the late Mr Bowie starts?

I understand that one at-the-time underage girl has already thrown her hat in the ring, but so far only for the kudos.
