    “to have and to hold
    from this day forward;
    for better, for worse,
    for richer, for poorer,
    in sickness and in health,
    to love and to cherish”

    Greater love hath no man – is to honour God and in each other.

    And to take care of the little things be it caring for and in temperate patience raising the children, honesty and just simply holding hands together.

    One problem, what ever became of the world?

      Thank you! That closely describes what we touched on in conversation during our very romantic day together!

      We agreed that the world is something to be excluded, by and large.

    The unwritten words by which I have lived, extra to the vows I made some forty-nine years ago; go something like: ‘You play the hand of cards which you are dealt’.

    Congrats to Churchmouse, and may you see many, many more anniversaries!

      Thank you very much, Mike — greatly appreciated!

      ‘You play the hand of cards which you are dealt’ How true. And, how much easier it is with two people united in love and vision.

      Congratulations to you on 49 years of happily married life!

    This “free sharing” of inmofration seems too good to be true. Like communism.
