And its Himself doing the t’ing, whats the word? Commentating, d’ats it, Patrick!

As a change from the usual experts, I give you Ireland’s answer to Rio’s Olympics broadcasting. Best thing ever in the whole era of ‘sporting commentary’! To be sure.

Make sure and watch the whole video, because the best is at the last!

Yes, quite amusing! I’m probably alone in that I never listen to any commentary on any sport that I may be watching. When I watch sport on TV, I want the viewing to be as though I was there. I don’t want to hear people chatting away; I don’t want to see the “idiots” watching – just want to see the drama unfolding. Occasionally, very occasionally I might need someone to explain an unexpected development but I can live without that! I certainly don’t want to see or listen to an endless stream of “statistics”.

That was fucking brilliant. I laughed so hard at the end and when he said we have run out of time two seconds later I nearly fell off my chair.

Much better than them boring twats on the BBC sports channel.

I can listen to commentators, but then I am listening for their ‘Kiss of Death’. There is always a moment when the commentator is praising someone to the heavens and predicting some fantastic move or even a ‘guaranteed’ podium spot, just moments before the poor sod takes a tumble.

Brilliant! He insulted most nations and quite a few spectators.
Now why exactly do the BBC have >300 “journalists” there?
