Ivanka

I was looking at her in the context of Daddy and then Melania and why Melania is always so glum, then came through the possible news that Ivanka has influenced Daddy to drop his hardline anti climate conference stance and that is not on, to drop it.

There are two immediate grounds for concern – one is the Ashkenazi influence and the other that like most women, she’s ‘bird-with-a-broken-wing’ left-liberal to a greater or lesser extent, as is Melania, as is Jared Kushner.

These are not the people he should have around him in this job. They need to stay in New York and let him get on with it.

Ken Craggs comes through with even more cause for concern:

Reports from two weeks ago included Donald Trump ordering the MOAB bomb to be dropped on Afghanistan which reportedly killed at least 36 ISIS members. And the Berlin Christmas market attacker being ordered directly by ISIS.

This week, Ivanka Trump is to make her first overseas visit as ‘Assistant to the President’ when she attends the Women20 Summit in Berlin, 24-26 April 2017. Angela Merkel will also be there. Will ISIS make a retaliatory attack on the daughter of Donald Trump while she is in Berlin?

Among other things, the Women20 Summit will urge the G20 to implement Agenda2030 and the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

There is this persistent factor of her mad feminism, Ivanka and how far it clouds her thinking – it’s hardly swung leftist women over to her side but it has swung rightist women into buying her clothing line.

Any politics which fights for women only has no place at the top table – the people who should be fought for are ALL Americans over there and ALL Brits over here.

Now don’t get me wrong – I’m all for Daddy-daughter things if it’s pure love of the fitting kind and the notion of daughters having good male role models cannot be overstated.

But not for the Oval Office.

Let me reiterate – despite the photos, there is not the slightest impugning of the Donald over any impropriety and any fathers reading this would know exactly what I mean – to try to taint a great relationship with that sort of innuendo is despicable.

That’s not what I’m driving at – what I’m driving at is that Daddy anywhere, any good Daddy, is going to be under heavy influence by daughter and when her views oppose those he was elected on … well, some brave soul, maybe Kellyanne, has to have a quiet word.

This is not just the nation, this is the good of the world we’re speaking of here.

Top pic v. creepy. Had not seen that one before. Hope the Left doesn’t find it.

‘These are not the people he should have around him in this job. They need to stay in New York and let him get on with it.’ V. much agree.

She has admitted in interviews during the campaign that she was always very manipulative. She says that her own daughter is the same way. Don Jr and Eric remember being sidelined in favour of Ivanka when they were children. That came out in last year’s interviews.

She and her husband could be a highly harmful force in the White House and for the United States. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely they will be leaving DC any time soon.

Eric is the most passionate of the three for his father’s MAGA movement. He gave some spot-on interviews to CNN last year. I wish he were in the WH instead of his sister. That said, the sons were no doubt happy to be left to run their father’s business, quite possibly without their sister’s interference.

We don’t know whose side she’s really on and I do wonder about her influence on the Syria attack. Apparently, she was very upset about the children. That’s understandable, but one has to stand back, take a deep breath and think rationally, not emotionally. Does Trump personally have all the details about that attack?

I will be very interested to see what he says at his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 30, his 100th day in office.

I still approve of him and am happy he is in the WH. That said, I’m puzzled by these foreign interventions. Some days they look as if they are part of a strategic long-term plan. On other days, they look as if they are influenced by the neo-cons. Are they examples of 4D chess? I sure as heck hope so.

You’re not the only one puzzled. Many pundits are questioning what’s going on and who’s pulling the strings. When I wrote that on Twitter, it was not howled down but was retweeted quite a few times.

One thing American pundits were saying was that he made the mistake of trusting congress, e.g. on the wall funding. I put out a feeler that people should look again at his acceptance speech evening footage, when Pence and Ryan were warmly embracing.

Someone inside is preventing him actually carrying out his programme.

So far, no one has a unanimous answer.

Maybe Trump has won over Pence. Not sure.

Paul Ryan is a definite problem.

Mitch McConnell is also a problem.

Re Melania’s mien, she must be worried about her husband’s safety all the time. Barron’s safety is no doubt another preoccupation. She also has to now make friends in the Swamp, not a very nice prospect.

Re her and Ivanka, I remember when the Netanyahus went to the White House and Ivanka gave Melania a lot of dirty looks. Ivanka seemed to think that just because she and her husband know Bibi that she should have been the lead lady that day. Melania just looked straight ahead. Good for her.

I’m off Ivanka (and Jared) for the time being.

President Trump’s comments about Ivanka on the campaign trail were odd, to say the least.

    • April 26, 2017 at 10:57 pm

Were those from the campaign trail or from years-old interviews?

I followed the campaign every day from March 2016 and never ran across anything untoward he said during that time about Ivanka.

If you have a link that says otherwise, many of us would be interested to see it. Thanks in advance!
