Well, We Do Things Differently Over Here…

Outside court, Minar said that he found Cvoky – the Slovak word for “Crazy” – had been ill treated when he first saw the dog while working at a school in his homeland.

The dog spent six months in quarantine before he could come to the UK. He had been owned by a cleaner who used to hit him.

Minar added: “He is still scared of brushes but likes running around. I am surprised at the law because the barking was not loud.”

He was ordered to pay the court bill at a rate of £20 monthly.

Another of those European migrants doing vital jobs that we must have here, I see….

It can be difficult with dogs. We had to do ‘next room’, then outside for 5 minutes, then 10, then 30, then an hour and gradually make Wiggy (our Newfoundland) aware that we were coming back.

In his defence, he didn’t so much as bark at anyone. The most danger he posed was drooling. His son, however, is a noisy devil and Newfies can make a lot of noise. However, we’re doing something right in even junior who’s 4 knows to sit quietly and not get excited at him the intent being to train Mongo to not bark as it doesn’t get our attention.

The guy is paying the bill. He’s being a decent citizen. What should we do to him? Deport him? Let’s address the reason a local wasn’t taken on first. That’s the problem, surely?

    It is indeed the problem.
