Trump Derangement Syndrome

Most people have seen the news over the weekend:

J.K. Rowling falsely accuses Donald Trump of avoiding shaking the hand of a wheelchair-bound three-year-old boy as Piers Morgan labels the author as a ‘disgraceful liar’

Even though she’s been told in no uncertain fashion, even though she deliberately cut off the opening of the clip* where he goes straight to the boy, thereby lying outright and misrepresenting, she still has the tweet up on Twitter.

She is clearly totally unaware of libel laws.

But it’s more than this – it’s Trump Derangement Syndrome. Originally a term of amusement for the way left-liberals cannot handle Trump being elected, it has come to mean clinical insanity.

In short, she can plead diminished responsibility because she fervently believes Trump did not go to the boy. In her head, it never happened.

Just as certain afflictions affect some demographics more, so with TDS – it affects left liberal women in particular, Gen X and younger, plus it affects the new pussified males.

My advice? Don’t make fun of the afflicted.

* I shall modify the ‘deliberately cut off the opening of the clip’ [in the sense that she did the snipping of the tape herself] to ‘she used a deliberately cut off clip [in the sense that she saw a doctored clip, mouthed off and then refused to retract once it was made abundantly clear she had used a doctored clip], then persisted in keeping her eight tweets up in her Twitter a/c’.

Please contrast her approach to my modification of this post in situ in response to further information.

Rowling the Poster Girl is probably wheeled out and protected by “them” to spout their narrative, so what d’you expect? That or her book revenue comes from the Dems 🙂

Enirely agree. But this statement is defamatory IMO:

‘even though she deliberately cut off the opening of the clip where he goes straight to the boy’

The Mail certainly didn’t that she had edited the video, just took it at face value and circulated it. Perhaps you have a reliable source that they do not. Personally I would do a quick edit…

No, it stands. All major pundits in the States have shown the original clip, plus the one she quoted.

The issue is not that she made an error but that she did not correct the error when it was made abundantly clear to her on Twitter, plus it got to sections of the MSM. She can’t plead ignorance.

      Statement stands.

Just went in now and straight away was this:

The mother of the child in the wheelchair that Trump supposedly snubbed, responds to media criticism of Trump: “He didn’t snub my son”

I saved the graphic with her letter but am on iPad in bed and can’t post in comments [tech issue]. So the issue has certainly gone viral and she’s ignored it.

I’ve retweeted Marjorie Kelly Weir’s letter on Twitter. Here’s another which has just gone up:

He literally bent down and talked to the kid for the longest time compared to anyone in the room. How does the media miss this?

Piers Morgan has publicly challenged her now:

JK Rowling’s 8 abusive tweets remain up, 48hrs after they were proven to be based on a lie.

There’s an uncorroborated tweet now that Rowling has deleted her a/c.

02:34: Having reviewed again, a slight alteration has been made in the text of the post.*

Mediocre childrens’ book writer loses plot.
It’s hard to sympathise with this rich purveyor of puerile (& puellile) fantasy, even harder to take any notice of her opinions.

I just listened to two hours of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Sam Harris destroyed himself with a little expert prodding from Scott Adams. It may well be that Trump views TDS as an effective psych-ops technique to further SJW self-destruction.

What we’ve got here is a [for the first time in my memory] coordinated counterattack from us when the establishment/global left try their tawdry tactics. They’re now getting hammered.

The JK Rowling thing was a minor kite flying to gauge reaction. Now they know.

She, Rowling has shape shifted from struggling mother into a some self appointed champion of Cultural Marxism and all of its entailed dystopian dogmatism.

After penning a few books for children, successfully swallowed and rapaciously so, film rights galore, Rowling is now a woman of some considerable means, though its true the world that the homogenised prison of stamping out all individualism – the cultural Marxists have fabricated. It’s a looking glass world, where escapism is avidly watching some soap, xfactor, harry potter or tattooing your body, dying your hair pink is the only form of societal expression. Though through reading a better standard of literature, it may just enlighten the masses sufficiently for them to perceive that, the ‘new Nirvana’ is not what it is cracked up to be, and Orwell’s nightmare novel of some ‘future’ 1984 might be a good place to start and then, move on to some Solzhenitsyn

Rowling, authoress and feminist coloured critic now deems that she has something to say and so what I say but there you are such is society vapidity that, some malformed minds listen.

No one has voted for Rowling but she seems to think that she has influence. Thus, why not put that influence to work with her vast fortune and put her money where her mouth is and commence to create in her own mind’s vision what she would like the world to be. Perhaps, Rowling she could open a human rights watch and marriage counselling offices and providing safe houses for beaten wives in, Karachi, Gudjarat or Medina?

Meanwhile, she’d be best advised to leave well alone the only leader and properly elected president of the last true democracy on this earth.

A small look at Rowling brought up the following. The “K” is fake.

She worked for Amnesty International. Background on AI

And here’s her 2008 Harvard speech:

    Usual “Them” guff. IMO.
