Charlottesville

As everyone else has, I’ve tried to make sense of what happened but unlike most, my sources were always to be non-MSM, non-Politico nor similar left leaning sites, which leaves Twitter reports from those present at the rally, plus some from Breitbart and other sources.

The sources as a whole indicate this:

1. The rally was pre-organized and a permit applied for and granted. The plan was for those protesting against the taking down of the Confederate statue of Robert E. Lee to drive in and park, assembling at an agreed point and marching to the statue just before 12 noon.

2. As the rally was now well known, someone contacted the funder of Antifa and busloads, amounting to hundreds of Antifa were bussed in and were in place at the statue well before the time. Police were also deployed, some in helicopters.

3.  Antifa were organized and arragned in two masses or phalanxes, such that any Unite the Right would have to go up the centre and run the baseball bat gauntlet.  They had not applied for any permit, they’re just allowed to be where they want.  Baseball bats are not confiscated.

4. McAuliffe, the Obama governor, directed police not to intervene between the two groups but police forced the Unite the Right to run a gauntlet between two walls of Antifa armed with metal baseball bats and urine bombs.

5. The result was selectively filmed.

6. At 12 noon, McAuliffe ordered Unite the Right to leave the area as they were illegally there. No similar order was issued to Antifa. They had no choice but to leave, again running that gauntlet, with the police providing no separation.

7. The result continued to be selectively filmed.

8. In adjoining streets, Antifa, still being bussed in and all over the place, attacked one man’s car with baseball bats. He took off in his car, knocking down an Antifa woman and killing her.

9. The composition of the Unite the Right was mainly alt-right [millennials] but Duke neo-nazis had also joined in – they were the ones with the nazi flags.

10. The MSM then went away and composed their slanted reports as we’ve all seen, with their pundits poised to shhet anything to Trump.

Thought

One assumes that Donald knew the chances of violence so which scenario is closest?

1. He knew and was relying on the police to do their job, naive enough to think the governor would not be in cahoots with Obama HQ whom many pundits believe coordiantes much of it and that police would do the right thing.

2. He knew and wanted them to show their hand, which put protesters at risk but later he’ll round up known perpetrators.

3. He’s under the control of Them [military branch] and is pursuing the neo-con agenda.

The neo-con agenda is pretty clear – the FEMA camps are in place, it only needs a certain amount more of the violence for the call to come from middle-America for him to do something … meaning martial law.

So we, the Deplorables, thereby dig our own grave and produce our own 1984.

James, I didn’t pay very much attention to the initial reports of this incident but the volume of comment soon ad me wondering what had happened. The reports I have seen here paint a picture of a violent confrontation initiated by so called “white Supremists”. As I read further afield, however, I get a rather different picture and I would say that your comments seem to be a better view of the happenings than that reported by our “unprejudiced” journalists. I don’t have any particular support for those who were protesting the removal of the statue but it does seem to me from the wider reading that the blame for the violence lies with the “other side”. The forces behind these fiery responses to anything and everything that they find offensive is growing day by day and I don’t think I’ll see any solution in what remains of my lifetime – I’m rather old and rather sad.

This is the N1 issue now and there’s a post on Faith Goldy tomorrow at 08:30 on just that.

This of course completely explains why large numbers of the KKK members were armed with rifles and shields.

“Voice of Reason” – now pull the other one!

KKK- There were a lot of alt-right, a few Nazi wannabes. Didn’t see any hoods and sheets at all. Not about white supremacy, it was about protesting the left’s insane desire to re-write history.

Rifles – so how many antifas got shot? Oh right, none. That’s called gun control. Besides, they mostly had pistols, not rifles. How many alt-right protesters were sent to hospital by the fascist “antifas”?

      SJWs always lie.

OTW, had to remove one short ad hominem sentence to comply with our loose rules. Otherwise as is.

No worries, thanks! Also regarding the car “attack” from what I’ve heard, the car was being pummelled with baseball bats etc, which would be a reasonable use of self-defense assuming it’s true. Guaranteed the story is not as simple as the media wants to tell it.

Regardless, to require the alt-right to be disavowed due to one bad actor is completely ridiculous, the left never disavows their own.

Many carried rifles because such pen carry is legal here, whereas concealed carry requires a permit in most places. Those with pistols and no permits were arrested.

Now, as for some evidence, try here: http://metro.co.uk/2017/08/13/white-supremacist-militia-seen-patrolling-charlottesville-rally-with-assault-rifles-6849661/

If you talk with some of these people, they cannot wait for the ‘race war’ to start.

Stefan Molyneux has on YouTube an interview with Faith Goldy, I think is her name. She was there and if I’m understanding her correctly the first hour or two were policed and the patriots held a rally, despite the verbal and physical abuse by the lefty opponents. Then the patriots were told to leave by the police but the lefties were not given the same instruction. The police then withdrew and the lefties were able to escalate their violence.
As for the car incident, she couldn’t say for sure what actually happened although Stefan, I think, seemed to think it could have been deliberate.

I’ve a post with Faith tomorrow 08:30 … but not on Charlottesville.

Yes, the collusion by the authorities and the way Antifa could just go about and do as they wished was jawdropping. Free pass without applying.

On the other hand, the right were ordered to leave. Go figure.

Driving a car at people is inexcusable. It was wrong. What caused it only those there will likely know but you can place a fair bet that the Left jeered, whinged, whined and set about their usual campaign of civil unrest.

As for the Right minded being led away, that’s standard practice. You remove *the most reasonable* from the conflict. You do it as a doorman and as a police officer. It’s easier to move the more sensible from the issue than the more violent – and the Left are always more violent.

What I find ironic, that no one has talked about is the attitude of the Left. There they are, demanding they get their own way and that all these ‘nasty people’ are made to go away. Someone needs to point out that this is clearly, obviously fascism. The very thing they supposedly fight against. It is the imposition, by force; of one view over another.

The Guardian is blithering on about the self same disruption, intrusion, aggression only they want to infltrate and subvert Right minded fora and websites. There has always been intolerance from the Left, but they just won’t give up until someone stops them.

The left are widely believed to be capable of sacrificing one of their own to further their agenda. Works better if it’s a sweet attractive seemingly innocuous female.

    Seem familiar?
