When They Turn, They Turn….

Yesterday, JK Rowling released a statement with regards to the casting of Johnny Depp in the title role of the new film, The Crimes of Grindelwald.

*sigh* Yet more publicity for her endless money-making scheme?

But wait! What’s this?

But fans have been voicing their displeasure at Depp’s casting, given that he was accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Aha! The fickle mob suddenly turns! How delicious!

Rowling, who’d remained unusually quiet on the matter given her often vocal presence on social media, spoke up about the issue in a piece shared yesterday. Despite defending Depp and the decision not to recast him, her statement ended: “We all have to do what we believe to be the right thing.”

Well, yes. What’s wrong with that? Can’t you bear the though of anyone believing in a different ‘right thing’ than you?

It reminded me of one of my favourite Dumbledore quotations, in which the wise headmaster talks about making a “choice between what is right, and what is easy”.

Oooh, quoting the Great Sage’s own words! This needs more popcorn!

Rowling may believe she did what was right, but, as fans re-share a video of the actor being openly aggressive, smashing glasses dangerously near to his then-wife, and the haunting pictures of Heard’s bruised face, it’s hard to agree that Rowling has made the “right” choice, rather than the “easy” one.

You mean, she hasn’t made the choice you think she should have made? How devastating for you!

Rowling and Yates’ failure to condemn Depp feels like just another insult to women in a society which continually disbelieves and minimises women’s testimonies about abuse.

‘Waah! Waah! Waah!’ Well, if Rowling’s output is the height of your taste in literature, it’s no wonder you’ve not grown up, love.

Disbelieves and insults? The Left – the entire establishment – turned a blind eye when it was Muslims doing the raping now suddenly women ar enot listened to? This is despite the endless torrent of ‘me toos’? The women who should have spoken up but wanted a leg up, so exchanged sex for a part and, now safe in their careers; are complaining about it?

I wouldn’t mind if they admitted to hypocrisy, but they seem to take doublethink to an entirely new level.

I wish entertainers would get back to entertaining; including authors; and commies would get back to, well, nothing. A year without having to endure the incessant utterances of the left would be a great year, indeed.

Quite frankly, what Rowling thinks is……………. not much. Consequently, I don’t and never had, think much of her.

Of, Rowling’s prissy opinions – if it were possible – even less.

JK Rowling being howled at and twatter trolled by Left SJW Feminazis – it’s Christmas Day again.

Wonderful, I’ve eaten some turkey to celebrate.

Haridan Harperson next? Please God make it so.

She’s rather faded from the limelight since Corbyn, hasn’t she?
