Because We Don’t Want To Have To Pay For Them, Gaby…

the question remains: why do too many people on the right keep being caught out expressing such views? What to make of this seemingly visceral disgust at the idea of poor people breeding…

That it’s actually a prevailing opinion outside the rarefied atmosphere of the ‘Guardian’ offices?

…essentially it is rooted in class prejudice. The grim unspoken assumption is that poorer people’s kids won’t be as bright or productive as middle-class children, and that these “wasters” (pace Bradley) will not only burden taxpayers but weaken society more generally.

And that assumption is proved correct time and time again, Gaby. As your readers have battled through the moderators’ defences to tell you:

I wonder how long those comments lasted? And who picked that one for ‘Guardian Comment’..?!

Don’t like white kids but Gaby and her London chatterati mates all love hospitals filled with non English speaking mothers who drop bairns like bunnies do and usually have a brood of umpteen kids, taxpayer funded of course.

It’s a white thing they (the bbc/grauniad classes) – have, and that’s white Apartheid in action, someone explain to me, how they ain’t called out as racists?

It’s called forward planning – breeding the next generation of their loyal voters.

Works just like most religions: keep ’em plentiful, keep ’em poor and they’ll blindly follow any fools’ gospel that promises milk & honey sometime.

Just like the Democrats in the US, who’ll never actually lift the black underclass up a notch because then they’d start losing their votes, but they’ll just keep on promising to do it. Ain’t democracy great?
