Trump in fighting form at Pennsylvania rally

On Saturday, March 10, 2018, President Donald Trump held a rally in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh.

The rally was in support of Rick Saccone, who is running for a House of Representatives seat in a special election on Tuesday, March 13. Trump complimented Saccone during his speech and said that he learned a few things about North Korea from him.

This tweet highlights the stark disparity of positions between today’s Democrats and Republicans. Conor Lamb has taken the opposite position on half the platform talking points in District 18. He had no response to sanctuary cities, voter ID, decertifying the Iran nuclear deal, defunding Planned Parenthood, supporting Israel and promoting freedom of speech for churches through repealing the Johnson (as in Lyndon Baines) Amendment from the 1950s.

Trump also used the rally as his usual public forum. The auditorium was packed. Saccone was one of the introductory speakers. There were others. Trump was the last — and main — speaker. His speech was 117 minutes long. He updated those in attendance on his successful first year. He pointed out that someone in the media complimented him on the success of the Winter Olympics. He also said that he would be asking Congress to look at Big Pharma and Big Media. Someone on Reddit summarised it well:

He blasted the fake news media, sanctuary cities, Dems stalling on DACA and talked up the progress on NK, economy, steel and aluminum, the tax cut, the wall, job growth and low levels of unemployment.

I thought he really did a good job of educating people on a lot of things that the MSM is being silent on like explaining that he’s really trying to make trade more fair with the tariffs (other countries already charge tariffs on our goods).

Trump voiced his opinion on imported steel:

By the way, it’s not good steel, it’s crap.

On Oprah Winfrey‘s anticipated run for the presidency in 2020:

I’d love to beat Oprah. I know her weakness.

He had things to say about Washington DC:

Washington D.C. We’ve got a lot of evil there but we’re getting it out. Step by Step. Lot of evil. Lot of bad people. Lot of bad people. Lot of fake media. Look at them.

With regard to the media, he singled out NBC/MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, who has his own cable show and, on the traditional network, moderates Meet the Press:

“Sleepy eyed Chuck Todd. He really is a sleepy son of a bitch..”

And the crowd goes wild.

Trump also impersonated himself trying to be presidential, which was hilarious. He then asked the crowd if they would enjoy listening to him be presidential. They roared back with a resounding ‘NO!’

Trump roadtested an idea that proved to be a bit less popular: the death penalty for ‘drug dealers’ (his words). He introduced the topic by explaining that, in his discussions with leaders from Asia, they told him they had no drug problems because of their individual policies of capital punishment for drug dealing. Trump then floated the idea of implementing the same thing in the US. Although the crowd applauded, it was not with the usual vocal enthusiasm.

Which brings me to Q. A Q board of Trump fans exists on Reddit: The Calm Before The Storm (CBTS_Stream). After the rally Q posted:

Mar 10 2018 21:26:30 (EST) Q !UW.yye1fxo ID: d91044 621887 >>621807
We went too deep.
Attempted a pullback.
Not ready.

CBTS contributors discussed what this might have meant. Most think it had to do with capital punishment for drug dealers. One wrote:

I wonder if he was referring to the death penalty for drug dealers. I noticed he didn’t get a wild applause for that and did “pull back,” said “maybe we aren’t ready for that, we’ll have to have some discussions.” Too many people are thinking about their kids that got hooked on drugs and then started dealing. We all know someone, or someone’s kid. Different if we are talking about a Mexican drug lord.

Someone replied:

Total shame too. He spelled it out in fkn crayon. How can people not see the bigger picture/longer game? Trump says Murder is 1 time action = life imprisonment or death. Then says drug dealers do the exact same except over years which would equal thousands of deaths and those people get nothing. You’re telling me that crowd cannot do basic math? WTF? You don’t need to be awake for that sh!t.

I hope they do not gauge America as a whole by the response of 1 crowd in 1 city. Trump has been good on feeling the pulse of the country so I’d be surprised if that were the case.

Another suggested ‘drug dealers’ could have been better expressed:

Traffickers would have been a better word, me thinks

Then there was the issue of live YouTube feeds going down. I tried watching on conservative channels RSBN, then Golden State Times. Both went down several minutes in. I had to switch to NBC. Other online viewers also had to switch to conventional networks. Interestingly, the rally is up on both YouTube channels where the live feed was cut. This, too, appeared as a CBTS topic in light of two Q posts. The first had to do with CNN’s Jim Acosta:

Mar 10 2018 21:15:05 (EST) Q !UW.yye1fxo ID: d91044 621588

CNN airing assassination of JFK.
CNN 3 sec delay – speech.
CNN Jim’s finger on button ready to stop transmission.
These people are sick.

The second seems to have been about the live YouTube feeds with the last line being reassurance about Trump’s life:

Mar 10 2018 21:18:51 (EST) Q !UW.yye1fxo ID: d91044 621691

You witnessed a strength test tonight.
Speech promoted here/POTUS to gauge response.
Net slowed.
Protections in place.

A CBTS contributor wrote:

I wonder if there were threats on him. Strength test being, DJT’s strength to go out there given potential. CNN’s delay and Jim’s finger on button ready to stop would fit well to a narrative with DJT getting hurt. ‘These people are sick’ fit well to that narrative. ‘Protections in place’ also fit to this narrative.

There was more to Trump’s week than the rally. The best was the news of future talks with North Korea, which Trump fans are really looking forward to. I wish more people were. Apparently, Big Media are saying it’s no big deal. Well, the Korean War never came to a formal end. Technically, it has been ongoing since Trump was a little boy. I hope and pray he can resolve this parlous situation and get them to denuclearise. We will find out a month or two from now.

More anon.

Thanks, CM. I’m also following this on YouTube which, despite their defunding programme, still shows a lot of informative channels, such as Lionel Nation.

I forgot to mention that Mrs May was mentioned this week

Missed most of the rally, being tied up in the home issues of the two couples arrested for speaking out. Shall get back to the Donald. Cheers again for the packed post.

Dear President Trump, I know you are having the time of your life but could you please do more to humiliate those toss pots in Brussels put a hundred percent tariff on German cars, as as for drug dealers was he talking about Big_Pharma?

More likely Big Media, with their telly shows.
